For the past six years, I’ve been working with a great client with offices all across the US, from Arizona to Virginia and many locations in between. And every couple months I’d drive from my base in Chicago to shoot videos and photos for their website, social media accounts and other marketing uses. Why drive when there are perfectly good planes I could take?? I always brought a lot of gear with me, including video cameras, lighting and audio gear, still cameras and lenses, often a drone for exteriors, and then backup gear in case something went down. I also brought a set of lab coats for providers to wear, a stool to sit on for interviews, a backdrop and more. It’s seems obvious to say this, but the extra cost to ship the gear by air was substantial. Not to mention I always feared it would get broken in transit or I would get delayed and would miss a scheduled shoot. And a love a road trip. It’s good to get out of the office and see America with my own eyes.

Unfortunately, a lot of changes occurred last year and my client’s marketing team was laid off; while I was always a freelance vendor for them, it meant I lost the account. I was gutted; I loved the people I worked with and the relationships I had made across the country, not to mention a good working knowledge of the client and their way of doing business.

But clients come and go in the freelance world. So I’m looking for new clients in the healthcare sector- hospitals, clinics, spas, dermatologists, surgery centers, etc. If you’re looking for an experienced photographer/ videographer to take your marketing to a new level and grow your business, send me an email. I’d love to connect and help your business grow.
